Mrs. Claire Simpson

Claire Simpson has been professionally teaching, directing, and performing in plays and musicals since 2005. Most recently, she has taught with South Carolina Children’s theatre in Greenville, SC. Favorite directing credits include Charlotte’s Web at Flat Rock Playhouse, Pippi Longstocking with North Carolina Theatre for Young People at UNCG, and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown and All Shook Up with Florida Repertory Theatre. Select professional acting credits include Mary Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life, A Live Radio Play and Mandy Bloom in Time Stands Still

 
Claire is a graduate of the MFA program from UNCG with a degree in Theatre for Youth. Prior to that, Claire was the Education Director at Florida Repertory Theatre, bringing live performances and classes to over 18,000 young people and families in Southwest Florida annually.
 
Claire and her husband, Chris, live in Tryon, NC with their goofy fur baby, Hoyt. She is delighted to teach and learn alongside the students and faculty of West Lincoln High and continue the “West is Best” tradition!
