North Lincoln High School Graduate Associates in Arts from CVCC BA in K-12 Health/Physical Education from Western Carolina University

Mrs. Liza Stewart

Hi! My name is Liza Stewart and I'm one of the Physical Education teachers! This is my second year at NLMS and I'm so excited to be back! I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2019 (Go Cats!) with a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education (K-12). I am newly married (the reason for the Sipe/Stewart confusion) and my husband is also a middle school Phys Ed teacher in Rowan-Salisbury County. I'm a NLHS Alumni, so Lincoln County is home! I am blessed with the opportunity to come back and take on the role as an educator. I'm also the Head JV Volleyball coach at NL High School! Go Knights!

I whole-heartedly believe that taking care of your body (mentally and physically) is the key to living life to the fullest. Teaching students how to live a healthy, active lifestyle through sport, exercise, and play is the best job! I can't wait to get this year started.
