Hello, my name is Kelly Salinas, I teach Spanish here at LHS. Lincolnton High School holds a special place in my heart, because I graduated from here. I love learning and teaching! I have been teaching for over 21 years in Lincoln and Gaston Counties at various grade levels. Aside from a teaching degree, I also hold a degree in translating and interpreting Spanish. Learning a language can be fun and interesting. Not only will you learn grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation of Spanish, you will be introduced to some of the culture and history of the various countries. I know you will enjoy the journey into the world of Spanish. To better help you, please remember to check Canvas everyday, especially if you are absent from class. Also, it is extremely important to study at least 15 minutes a day. I look forward to working with you this year!
