Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Ashley Hege and I am excited to be your teacher this year! This will be my 6th year of teaching, and my first year at Rock Springs. I have taught PreK, 1st grade, and 2nd grade before. This will be my first year teaching kindergarten. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and from Georgia State University in 2010 with a Master's of Education in Elementary Education. 

I live here in Denver with my husband, Matt, my children, Hannah (8) and Graham (6), and my dog, Piper. Our family moved to Denver in January of 2020, and Rock Springs already feels like home. I am truly blessed to have a teaching position at the school. I look forward to meeting all of my new students and parents. It's my goal to make it a year full of love, learning, growth and fun!
