Hello!  I am so excited to have your child in my classroom this year.  This will be my second year teaching 2nd grade.  Please know that the relationship that I have with your child is super important to me.  Our classroom is like their home, and classmates are like family.  Showing love and respect is of the utmost importance when it comes to your children's education.  You may hear about my own family from your children.  I have two sweet girls, Lyla and Piper, and my husband is Jeff (Mr. A). 

We will be learning standards based upon the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.  It is important for your child to come to school ready for their day.  My expectation is that your child will be on task and on time each day.  We will work hard and be nice.  As long as each child knows these expectations, their day will run smoothly and efficiently.  Class Dojo is my main mode of communication, however please know that my door is always open.  

I am excited about beginning this school year.
