Welcome!

I currently teach 7th grade ELA! I try to challenge my students' reading and writing abilities by introducing them to various topics and styles of texts all while asking them to express themselves through writing and a variety of other methods. I like to allow students to explore their own interests and share their interests with their classmates. 

A little bit about myself: I was born and raised in Lincoln County. I went to WLMS and graduated from WLHS. I continued my education at Appalachian State University where I earned my Bachelor's degree. GO MOUNTAINEERS! 

My wife, Sarah, teaches 1st grade at Love Memorial Elementary in Lincolnton. We have a daughter, Ava Drew. She's the best! I love all kinds of music! I enjoy hunting and fishing when I can. I am also a huge football fan. I, of course, pull for the Carolina Panthers, App State Mountaineers, the WLMS Chiefs, and WLHS Rebels!
