Welcome to my class! I am so excited to be a part of the Panther family! I have been teaching for 10 years. I am a member of the School Improvement Team (SIT) and serve as the lead EC teacher at NLMS. 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two young kids, and our two dogs. I am attending North Carolina Central University in the school of education for a dual set of masters degrees in teaching students with visual impairments and assistive technology, along with a certificate in orientation and mobility. 

Our class is like a family, we use strategies based off of individual needs. Educational programs used, but are not limited to: Orton Gillingham, SPIRE, Number Worlds, AIM Web, VMath, and any other curriculum that meets student needs. 

My planning period is from 8:30-10:00am, but please note that I may have fluctuating meeting times based off student needs.
