Hello!  My name is Melissa Pawlowski and I am a Kindergarten Teacher at Love Memorial Elementary School.  I have been employed with Lincoln County Schools since 2010 and have a passion for teaching young students.  Each year I am so amazed to see the growth and enthusiasm these young students have for learning and achieving. 

I am a graduate of Old Dominion University in Virginia with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.  I  started my career in Human Resources and later Project Management in Corporate Real Estate.  I left this field to pursue a new career in Education and have never looked back.   I enrolled in the graduate program at UNCC in Elementary Education and received my NC Teacher Certification.

I have been married 29 years to my husband Tim and have 2 beautiful children that I am so very proud of.  Evan is 23 and is attending Coker University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business and is now pursuing his Master's Degree.  Kara is 20 and a junior at NC State University.  She is majoring in Chemistry and is a member of the NC State Dance Company.

I absolutely love what I do and look forward to an exciting 2023/24 year at LMES.
