This will be my 22nd year teaching and my 12th year teaching fifth grade. I am originally from Anderson, SC. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Elementary Education. I live in Denver with my husband and our beagles, Cooper and Ruby. When I am not at school I enjoy baking, anything crafty, reading, and being outside. 

I am looking forward to sharing my love of science and technology with your child. We will be learning about weather, ecosystems, the human body, matter and energy, force and motion, and genetics. Students will take a science EOG at the end of May. We will utilize Quizlet to help students practice vocabulary.
