Welcome to Mrs. Newton's Eighth Grade Science class! 

This is my sixth year teaching at Lincolnton Middle School and I can't imagine myself teaching anywhere else! I am originally from Cleveland County and a graduate of Burns High School. I married my husband, Trey, in 2022 and we built a house on family land in Lincoln County. 

I graduated from Gardner Webb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades Education and am certified to teach math and science at the middle school level. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy relaxing activites like reading and watching TV. I am currently binge watching The Big Bang Theory and NCIS. I also enjoy spending time with my family, my husband, and our fur babies - Olive and Zeb. I look forward to getting to know all of you and I can't wait for a terrific school year!
