My name is Mrs. Hammonds and this is my 17th year teaching.  I have a wonderful family including my husband Jason, daughter Ruthie, and son Spencer.   I am so passionate about teaching and I can’t help but think of my students as my own “kids”.  

This year will be full of movement, small group learning, and hands-on activities.   Students will grow tremendously in reading this school year.  In order to support this learning, please read with your child every night for at least 15 minutes. There will be minimal homework (word study) so that your child may go outside and PLAY at home.
