Students will need to have earned a specific amount of dojo points to get to participate in each celebration. If it does not look like your child will get to participate, I will be having lots of talks with him/her (developing a plan for them to find opportunities to earn dojo points) as well as getting in touch with you by Wednesday of celebration week.

Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Amanda Coburn
I graduated from Lees-McRae College, class of 2017 with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am from Catawba County, and am excited to be a part of Lincoln County schools! This is only my third year of teaching, but I have been working with children of all ages for over 15 years.
I have two sons, ages 11 and almost 14. We love sports and outdoor activities. Bryant plays football, wrestling and baseball. Cody is working toward his Jiu Jitsu yellow belt and working with the Little Devils Wrestling Program in the Spring! I enjoy riding 4-wheelers with friends, hiking, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
First grade is an exciting adventure! I look forward to seeing each young person in our class grow this year!
We are thrilled to introduce Mrs. Beals to our Battleground Family as our newest Teacher Assistant. She is a mother, soon-to-be grandmother, and Mrs. Lincoln County 2019 (along with many other titles!) She has worked in childcare for more than 20 years and is a valued addition to our classrooms!
