My name is Doug Clark.  I grew up in Montague, MI.  Montague is a small town located in the lower peninsula of Michigan near Lake Michigan.  I have been teaching in Lincoln County Schools here at Battleground Elementary/Kiser Intermediate since the beginning of my carrier .  This year will be my 4th year teaching 2nd grade.  I am excited to see students grow throughout elementary school and beyond.  I have been married to my wife Laura for a wonderful 17 years and we have four sons and one daughter.  Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI awarded me a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, hiking, enjoying nature, and working with aquariums.
