Hey!  My name is Abbie Nordmark and I will be your child’s teacher! This is my 15th year teaching and my 7th year at Iron Station.

I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and then moved to Lincolnton in November 2016.  I attended Gardner-Webb University on a softball scholarship and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  I later attended Appalachian State University and earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 

I am a wife to Erik and a mom to Gage (11), Lyla (9) and a lab named Nora☺ Gage will be at East Middle this year and Lyla will be in 4th at ISES.  I love sports, being outside, and being active!  I live on a farm where my neighbors are my parents, sisters and nieces. I value any and all family time!!  I love to laugh and work hard to create a structured but fun atmosphere in my classroom.  Some of my favorites include:  Chic-Fil-A, Starbucks (caramel macchiato), Target, Amazon, anything purple, trail mix, Coke, Dr. Pepper and Reese’s.  I also love collecting tumblers (cups).  You will most likely see me drinking iced coffee out of one everyday :)
