I love helping students reach their full potential, and I love celebrating their accomplishments with them! We have a lot of fun while learning. At times, I am louder and more excited than my students.

I was born in Charlote and grew up in Weddington, NC. I moved to Huntersville in 1988. I owned and operated my own dance studio for 15 years. I have three children and three granddaugters. My husband and I were Respite Care Providers for 5 years, as well as Therapeutic Foster Parents. We also hosted orphans from Belarus during the summer for 4 years. Children definitely hold a special place in my heart!

I have a Masters in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
