Welcome to the sweetest grade!!! Second grade rocks!  

My name is Angela Sweeney and I'll be your teacher this year!  I've been a school teacher for 16 years, having taught kindergarten, first, second, third, and fifth grades.  I graduated with a degree in elementary education from Winthrop University (Go Eagles!) in 2000 and with my Masters degree in Reading in 2002.  In 2006, I was awarded District Teacher of the Year by York County 3 and I got to work with state Teachers of the Year on important, policy-changing committees.  It was really neat to work with all those amazing teachers!
