Teaching is a passion and a love that I have!!  I enjoy sharing this wonderful world of learning will all of my students.  I taught Kindergarten for 2 years in Gaston County and this is my sixth year teaching music in Lincoln County at Rock Springs.  I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Music, and Graduated with a Master's in School Administration as well as a Master's Certificate in Learning, Design and Technology-School Specialist.   

I live in Pumpkin Center with my husband of 21 years and our 3 children; Aaron, Stephanie and Parker.  My husband is a Firefighter for Denver and Pumpkin Center Fire Departments, and my son is a Volunteer Firefighter at Pumpkin Center Fire Department.  Aaron and Stephanie are graduates of North Lincoln High School and Parker is in the 11th grade. Stephaine is currently attending App. State and pursing two degrees; Computer Information Systems and Accounting. Our family is busy, but we love every minute of it!
