    If you are interested in a career in the military, then consider taking the ASVAB test.  North Lincoln will be offering this free test on October 16th during the school day. If you would like to reserve a seat for his test, please stop by and sign up with Mrs. Burke.

    - Juniors and Seniors: If you are wanting to take Gaston College classes next semester, you must pick up your enrollment form in guidance.  Applications are due by October 15.

    - We will be preselling tickets for Friday night’s football game against East in the cafeteria TODAY during all three lunches. 

    - The next HOSA meeting is October 17 at 3pm in Room 510. $20 dues are due at this meeting. Please contact Mrs. Sinclair if you have any questions. 

    - Women’s Tennis competed in the conference tournament yesterday.  Anna Gore advanced to the second round in singles play and Meghan Restino/ Sharidan Farris advanced to the second round in doubles play.  Lanie Jordan lost a close first round match. Sylvia Burroughs/ Caitlin Simcox lost a close first round match as well. The team will find out on Monday if they earned a wild card spot in the dual team playoffs.

    - Our 3rd annual Gold Knight for childhood cancer awareness is Friday, Oct 11. The Stand Firm Warrior Foundation will have a table set up in the cafeteria during all 3 lunches on Tuesday, October 8th and Wednesday, the 9th, with this year's Gold Game shirts for sale. Shirts are $15. All proceeds go to support the cause. You can pay with cash, check, card or Venmo.

    - Auditions for Chamber Choir are TODAY from 3:00-3:45 in the choir room. Members selected to be in Chamber Choir will have the opportunity to open the Christmas season at the Biltmore House this year with a special candlelight concert on December 8th. For auditions, you are not required to bring in a prepared song, just a pencil and your voice!

    - Women’s Tennis concluded their regular season with a 5-4 win against Newton-Conover.  Singles winners were Sylvia Burroughs, Caitlin Simcox and Anna Gore. Doubles winners were teams of Sylvia Burroughs/Caitlin Simcox and Anna Gore/Libby Huss.  The team finished the season with an overall record of 10-3 and finished third the conference with a 5-2 record.
