Hello!

I am so thrilled to begin another school year of teaching here at PCPS!  I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I graduated from Belmont Abbey College in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  In 2020 I earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Literacy from the University of North Carolina at  Charlotte. 

This is my 8th year as a classroom teacher and my 7th year in 2nd grade here at PCPS.  I previously taught 3rd grade at Battleground Elementary School.

 I have lived in Lincoln County my whole life.  I attended Lincoln County Schools growing up and I graduated from North Lincoln High School in 2012.  When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jared, and our one year old daughter, Emery.
