Dr. Thelma Rozukalns

Mrs. Rozukalns is the 6th and 7th grade chorus teacher at Lincolnton Middle School and the 6th grade chorus teacher at West Lincoln Middle School. She had previously taught elementary vocal music in Hutchinson, Kansas district schools as well as completing Orff Level I and Kodaly Level 1 training. In addition to public school teaching, Dr. Rozukalns has taught collegiate and high school studio voice lessons and participated in the National Association of Teachers of Singing 2001 Intern Program. She is a member of the National Association for Music Education and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Dr. Rozukalns performed with her husband, Andris Rozukalns in various solo recitals, oratorio and as a chorister with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and Choeur l'Orchestre National de Lyon. This is Mrs. Rozukalns' twelfth year teaching middle school music in Lincoln County Schools as she continues to enjoy working with her young singers! She lives in Hickory with her son, Ardis and their adorable cat, Isabella.
