• The genesis of North Lincoln High School began in the summer of 2000 when Lincoln County Superintendent, Martin Eaddy, convened a committee of stakeholders to establish the parameters of needs for a new high school for the rapidly expanding eastern end of Lincoln County.  This committee visited a variety of schools to formulate ideas for the school architect Attila Orkan.

Construction began in the fall of 2001 and North Lincoln was completed to open the 2003-2004 school year.  Mr. Rick Freeman was chosen as our first principal.  North Lincoln very quickly acquired a reputation of academic excellence, being recognized as either a School of Distinction or a School of Excellence every academic year.  North Lincoln has also excelled athletically winning state or regional championships in Cross Country, Men’s Golf, Softball, and Wrestling. Finally, the North Lincoln Band of Knights Marching Band is nationally recognized for its outstanding performances.
