    Hello Runners, We hope you're having a great summer! 

    Practice will begin promptly at 3:15 and end at 4:00. We will do 15 minutes of strength training and 30 minutes of running every day. We want everyone to run in the meets, however, you will need to be able to complete 1 mile with out stopping to walk. Two mile need to be completed in 25 minutes or less. This is for the flow of the meets. You will practice with us and get better each day - even if you may not be able to run in the first meet, we know you'll make the requirements by the second one with your hard work. 

    We are going to have real jerseys this year - but you have to earn it! The top 10 male and female runners will have the official uniform, every one else will wear your team shirt. Everyone one will still run, but we want a little extra incentive to put forth that extra effort in practice. 

    You should be out in the heat of the day everyday doing some type of physical activity to let your body get used to the heat and humidity. Perhaps run in the morning, and walk in the afternoon. If you don't have a training plan, We suggest a C25K app. There are a lot of free versions available and will allow you to safely train your body.
