• Packets for phase 2 were created for all classes. The time period covers March 31-April 9, 2020. All assignments are located in Canvas, students need to log into Canvas each day, if they have access, attend the weekly Zoom meeting, and check-in through Remind for their attendance and work set up for each day. I communicate with students through their school email account and remind. Office hours: Every other day Zoom meeting: 9:00, 12:30 and 1:30. I check and respond to email, Remind, and phone call messages daily if received between 8 to 3 PM. I check attendance at 3 pm each day. The best method of communicating with me is through email, if you need me to follow up with a phone call include your local number.

  • A paper copy of the packet is available at school on the distribution days of March 18 and 18, 2020. I have also scanned and uploaded a digital file of the packet into canvas announcements and included a video file to "unpack" the packet. The packet consists of a section of planning forward instruction. These packets are for Lincolnton High School, and student's enrolled in the Microsoft Imagine course.

Ms. Jennifer Luper

I am honored to be a member of the wonderful staff members of the Lincolnton High School family. I started my career in education at Lincolnton High School in 1991. I am a trained high school teacher, in which my goal is to not only teach my subject area but to reinforce professional skills which will prepare students to be career-ready! Teaching is a noble career in which you have a real connection to the future through positive interaction with my students.  

I am a lifelong learner--I hold teaching certifications in four areas. I am the CTE department/professional learning chair at Lincolnton High School. I have a Master's Degree from Appalachian State University. 

As an undergraduate student, at ASU,  I had to opportunity to meet and speak with Maya Angelou, she was an outstanding writer and poet. Who inspired individuals with her words.  A few of her quotes which I aspire to include in my daily life.

In addition, I truly believe we learn more from our mistakes than our successes, we must keep trying for improvement each day. I look forward to the upcoming year. I am the advisor for Future Business Leaders of America. I was honored by NC FBLA to be chosen as the NC FBLA Adviser of the Year for 2019.
