Mrs. Erica Roberson
I am the school media specialist at LHS. In this role, I wear many hats! I am the webmaster, I teach a few different elective courses, and I manage our school technology like Chromebooks and much more! My two areas of instruction are Library Science and Teacher Cadet. The Teacher Cadet course is an early internship and instructional option for students that are considering the teaching profession or that enjoy working with children. Library Science is a peer assistance course that allows students to contribute by working in the library to help me with day-to-day operations as well as providing an opportunity to learn how to use multimedia presentation tools and other skills that can enrich their work in other academic classes. I also facilitate an inclusive technology elective for our EC students as well as assist teachers in implementing technology and research skills into their daily instruction. I am the coach of our High School Battle of the Books team, which is one of my passions! I am also the advisor for our Future Teachers of America/ Teachers of Tomorrow Club. This is an extension of the Cadet class, but students do not need to be Cadets to be in the club.
I am a Lincoln County native and proud graduate of Lincolnton High School. I have been teaching for almost twenty years in Lincoln County, half of that time at LHS! I am active in my church, Scouts, and club activities. I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family, which includes 2 LHS grads and 3 future LHS grads...so we bleed black and gold! Go Wolves!
