I have been in education for 12 years. I received my Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina Asheville, and my Masters in School Administration from Appalachian State University. I spent my first two years at Alexander Central High School in Alexander County, then spent the next seven years at Lincolnton High School before moving into school administration. I spent the last three years working as an assistant principal in Rutherford County Schools, but have since decided to return to the classroom and Lincolnton High School. I currently teach Math III (1st Period), Foundations of Math III (2nd Period), and Math II (4th Period). I am excited about returning to the classroom, and in particular, being able to return to doing so at LHS. Looking forward to a great 2022-2023 school year.
