I graduated from Lincolnton High School 24 years ago, and this will be my 18th year teaching here. After receiving my bachelor's degree in English from ECU, I pursued a lateral entry certification into teaching and completed it through UNCC in 2003. In 2015, I completed my master's degree in English at ECU with a focus in two areas: Technical Professional Communication and Multicultural Transnational Literatures. This year I will be teaching English III as well as serve as the yearbook adviser.

Students assigned to my classes will use Canvas for all class information as well as submitting assignments. If you are assigned to one of my classes, you should see the course on Canvas starting Aug. 23.

Be sure to check your email and Canvas for the Google Meet link if you ever need to join class remotely.
