Hello....

My name is Leah Sigmon.  This is my 20th year teaching Special Education. I am a Catawba County native and I graduated from Bandys High School. This is my 6th year teaching at Lincolnton High School and I must say...I love this school! GO WOLVES!!!!

I attended Wingate University where I received a BS degree in Human Services.  I completed my Special Education degree at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. I love teaching students with special needs.  I feel that teaching special education is my "calling" more so than my job.  

On a personal note...My husband and I have three children....Chloe, Gabe and Evan.  Their ages are 21,15 and 12. Sherrills Ford, NC is the place I call home, but I think of Lincolnton as my home away from home!!
