Welcome to my class webpage! This is my sixteenth year teaching.  I am so excited to be a part of the Battleground family.  I grew up in Lincoln County, attending Lincoln County schools.  After high school, I attended Appalachian State University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  I have been married fifteen years and have two daughters, Sawyer Kate and Eliza Jaymes. I also have two dogs, Dolly and Georgia. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grade.  I am excited about the 2023-2024 school year.
