I've taught CTE at West Lincoln Middle School since 1998. I graduated from West Lincoln High School and Lenoir Rhyne University, with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. After some time as an auditor/accountant, I lateral entried and became a CTE teacher in 1998.   I live with my husband, Lance, and kids, Rae, JayMark, and Finley. Lance teaches at Murray Elementary and also teaches Driver's Education in Catawba County.  This year my oldest is in her second semester at North Carolina State and will begin her Senior Year in August of 2023, JayMark is in 11th at WLHS where he plays tennis and is on the archery team, and Finley is in 5th grade at North Brook Elementary School where he enjoys gaming and is on the Battle of the Books Team!  At home, I love to spend time with my kids, we love going to the movies and playing golf.  In the past at West Middle, I have coached girls basketball, co-ed golf, and served on the School Improvement Team.  At one time, I was the director of the afterschool program.  Currently, I am the sponsor for the WLMS Gaming Club. I am also working to start an archery club at WLMs.  I look forward to a great year with you in the wild, wild West!
