Welcome to Second Grade!!!  I graduated in 1997 from Western Carolina University with a B.S.Ed in Elementary Education.  I have been at Union Elementary School for 22 years.  I have been teaching for 24 years. Seventeen of those years have been in second grade.  I taught third grade for 7 years before moving down to second.

I am married to Kevin and we have two daughters.  Callie is a sophomore at WCU and Mckenna is in 10th grade at WLHS.  As a family, we enjoy traveling to new places, kayaking, and playing with our dog Hershey.  I like to read and garden when I get a chance.  I look forward to a wonderful year!
