I grew up in Lincoln County and am grateful to have a teaching career in my hometown.  Teaching is very dear to my heart, and I love seeing students accomplish goals they never thought possible.  I received my bachelors degree in elementary education from Appalachian State University and have been teaching at S. Ray Lowder ever since.  This is my sixteeth year teaching third grade, and every year I am amazed by how much third graders are able to accomplish.
