I am Mrs. Heffner.  I have been a part of the St. James Family for the past 17 years. 

I am a “hometown girl.”  I have lived in Denver almost my whole life. I graduated from East Lincoln High School many years ago. I attended college at Belmont Abbey.  I taught fourth and fifth grade before coming down to Kindergarten. This will be my 7th year here in Kindergarten.  I love the excitement that I get watching the students learn. I think I get more excited than they do. I am so happy to be at St. James, doing what I love best!   

I live in Pumpkin Center with my wonderful husband. I have a twenty-five year old, Keegan and a twenty year old, Brock. I am very passionate about football. I love high school and college games. I am a huge Clemson Tiger fan. 

Miss Cherie Parsons will be the instructional assistant in our classroom this year!  Cherie has been a member of the St. James family for many years. I am truly blessed to have her in the classroom. I am so excited we will all get to learn and work together this year!
