As a native of Lincoln County, it has been a privilege to teach in the same school system that educated me. I have been an employee with Lincoln County Schools for 21 years. The majority of my experience is in second grade, but I have taught first and third grades as well. I am a graduate of West Lincoln Hight School and UNC-Charlotte where I earned my BA in Elementary Education. Most of my teaching years have been right here at Pumpkin Center when I became part of the staff when it opened in 1999. I am married and have two boys who both attend Lincoln County Schools. Teaching is my passion!
