Degrees and Certifications:

AA @ Gaston College BA Psychology @ UNCC Continuing Education Certificate @ UNCC

Mrs. Kristen Dickson

I am a Lincoln County native.  I went to Catawba Springs, East Lincoln Middle, and then graduated from East Lincoln High School in 2000.  I graduated from Gaston College with my Associate of Arts in 2002 and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2005.   I received my teaching degree from UNCC in 2008.  I have completed my eighteenth year of teaching in Lincoln County Schools.  I was at West Lincoln Middle for three years, where I taught seventh grade Math and Science, and have been at North Lincoln Middle for fifteen years, teaching sixth grade Math and/or Science.

I have been married to my husband, Russell, for eighteen years and we have two children.  Faith is in 11th grade and Grayson is in 8th grade.  Faith loves to play volleyball and lacrosse and Grayson loves to play baseball and golf.  We live in Denver.  We also have a German Shepherd named Keizer, who is almost seven.

I value my family!  They are my favorites!  We enjoy being part of Pursuit Church, going to the beach, being on the field for a game, hanging out by the pool, watching the Atlanta Braves (Chop On!) and the Carolina Panthers (Keep Pounding)!  I have been a breast cancer survivor since February of 2017.  I am so very blessed by the love and support of this community.

If you need to reach me, you may contact me by email at kdickson@lincoln.k12.nc.us or by phone at 704-736-0262.  If you would like to schedule a conference, I have planning from 10:50-12:10 Monday through Friday, with the exception of Wednesdays.  The Owl Team will send out a weekly newsletter and a weekly planner image.  Please read this carefully each week for important reminders for our team and from the school.

I pray that this school year is successful for your child...that he/she will grow academically, be encouraged by a peer, love learning, keep growing, set goals, strive to reach those, but most importantly, I want your child to know I care about them and will be here to support them in any way I can.
