Welcome! My name is Dawn Risse and I teach Advanced Language Arts, grades 6-8. I am so excited about beginning another year at North Lincoln Middle School! I am originally from Long Island, New York. In 2003, I moved to Denver where I currently live with my husband, John. (My youngest son has left for college and we are now "empty nesters!"
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education and Elementary Education as well as a Master of Science degree in Reading Education. I am certified in Middle Grades English Language Arts, Social Studies, AIG and Special education.
