My name is Laura Thornhill, and I am the counselor for students with the last name Q-Z.  I have been at North Lincoln High School since the school opened in 2003.  This is my 31st year as a school counselor, and my 28th year in Lincoln County Schools.  I have two sons, one who graduated from NLHS in 2015 who graduated in 2019 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and my other son is a 2018 graduate of NLHS. and graduated from NC State in 2022.  My husband and I have lived in Denver since 1996.  I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and received my Master's of Education in School Counseling from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.  I look forward to working with students and parents again this year.  Please find more information about the Student Services Department on the Guidance Page website.
