Teran Ellis

Hi EVERYONE!  I am Teran Ellis, your Physical Education Teacher!  I love to spend time with my daughter, playing basketball, exercising, and teaching the awesome kids at North Brook!  The purpose of Physical Education class is to teach students how to maintain a lifetime of Physical Fitness!  Exercise is a very important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  We also focus on lessons that teach healthy eating!  Posted in the links below is information on ways to get active at home, stay healthy, and joing Mrs. Ellis to exercise!

Students should participate in Physical Activity for 60 minutes a day, 5 days per week to maintain a healthy lifestyle!

  • Our school will continue to have a running club!  We will begin running Club in February 2023.  I will send home running club information in November!  Running club dues are $10, and will be due no later than January 15th.  Running club only includes 3rd - 5th grade students!  Running club fees also include the fee for each race, which ranges from $15 - $25 depending on the race.

  • We will be allowed to hold the jump rope club this year!  The jump rope club is an after school fitness club that focuses on jump rope skills.  We will travel around to local events to perform.  Students will be required to try out for the event.  Students will be given the criteria for tryouts before we begin the season.  We will begin trying out for the jump rop club at the end of September!  Only 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are allowed to participate in Jump Rope Club.  I am very excited!
