HELLO! My name is Heidi Hullette, and I will be your child's teacher for the upcoming school year! I am very excited about meeting all of the children and guiding them through kindergarten.  First, I would like to provide some background information about myself.  I have been a teacher for 17 years. This is my eleventh year teaching Kindergarten. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from UNCC in 2006.   I am married to Dustin Hullette and we have two special boys.  Kade is 12 years old and Kashton is 10 years old. I enjoy spending time with my family at the ballpark or out by the pool.   I am looking forward to this school year!  I love to see children learn and grow.

As an experienced teacher, I have developed a set of beliefs about how I can best help students learn and grow.  First, I believe that in order to effectively teach my students, I must know as much about them as possible.  Therefore, I will look forward to getting to know you and your family.  Secondly, I believe that each and every student needs to be shown love. I plan to love your child from the time they step in my classroom door.  Each student in my classroom is an individual with their own beliefs, ideas, and feelings.  My teaching will be tailored to each student's style of learning so that they can all achieve to the best of their ability.  I also feel that students should take an active role in their education and learning. Therefore, in most of my lessons your child will spend very little time listening to me talk .  They will instead be active participants in all the activities we do in the classroom!!!
