I am the Title 1 Reading Specialist at Love Memorial Elementary School.  I serve students in kindergarten, first, second, and third grade.  

I graduated with my Bachelors and K-6 Licensure from Meredith College in 2007.  I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading from North Carolina State University in 2008, GO WOLFPACK!

I have taught first, second, and third grades.  I was in the classroom for six years before moving into the Title 1 Reading position.  This will be my ninth year teaching reading in the Title 1 program.  I have always had a passion for reading and working with struggling readers.  I want all students to become successful and confident readers.  

I have been married for eleven years and I have three beautiful children.  I love spending time with my family, reading, and traveling.
