Clinicians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by phone. Explain the situation to the staff answering the call and their goal is to provide treatment in the least restrictive setting possible. Other services include: Walk In/Open Access Clinic, facility based crisis center for adults, rapid response bed for children and teens in crisis, and crisis services for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Lincolnton Wellness Center 704-732-0018
311 McBee Street, (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) provides Walk in/Open access without an appointment. An onsite therapist conducts a comprehensive clinical assessment, treatment plan, psych evaluation, prescriptions if needed, and referral to a proper level of care. The site houses 1. Monarch, 2. Support Incorporated, and 3. Phoenix Mobile Crisis until midnight.
First visit to the center can reduce what could be otherwise months of waiting for help.

Offers substance abuse testing and assessment by a licensed substance abuse facilitator, counseling and educational classes. Counsels 13 years of age and older. Will consider a 12-year-old child based on maturity of child.

Hospice – Free Chameleon Journey Camp for 7-17 year olds
If you have a child or children between the ages of 7-17 that have experienced a loss. The Chameleon Journey Camp is an annual overnight at Camp Thunderbird, Lake Wylie, that brings together children to help them heal. Through all day activities led by professional licensed grief counselors, children are supported with the grieving process. Children who have started the camp as early as 4th grade seem to return year after year for this amazing program and opportunity!
