• Academically & Intellectually Gifted Service Delivery

    If identified, students are placed in the service option most appropriate for their grade level and placement criteria.  Service options may include, but are not limited to the following:

    Grades K - 3

    • Early admission to kindergarten
    • Learning centers or stations
    • Content acceleration
    • Extended reading and/or math activities
    • Collaborative teaching with AIG teacher
    • Technology-based instruction
    • Differentiated lessons or unit
    • Seminar sessions

    Grades 4 - 5

    • Differentiated lessons within the regular education classroom
    • Cluster grouping/Direct services in Reading and/or Math
    • Expanded technology-based instruction
    • Extended reading, writing, problem solving, and mathematical actitivities
    • Content or grade acceleration

    Grades 6 - 8

    • Advanced English I Language Arts classrooms
    • Accelerated Math Program (6th), Pre-Algebra (7th), or Math I (8th) classrooms
    • Differentiated lessons within the regular education classroom
    • Curriculum or grade acceleration

    Grades 9 - 12

    • Honors Courses
    • Advanced Placement Courses
    • Career and College Promise Courses (in partnership with the community college system)
