Welcome to PowerSchool Portals Page!
PowerSchool has been closed for the summer. Please check back in August.
PowerSchool is a secure web-based student information system that provides real-time updates to parents, teachers, students and school administrators about student performance. The program is made available through the N.C. Department of Public Instruction.
The Parent Portal component of PowerSchool is a convenient Internet-based program that makes it easy for parents to monitor and track their child’s academic progress. Parents will have access to attendance, schedules, grades and other important information. (Work of kindergarten through second grade students is not graded on a numeric system; therefore, grades for these students are not accessible on PowerSchool. Attendance information is available for these students.)The Student Portal component of PowerSchool provides students with access to the same information that parents receive.
There is no cost to use PowerSchool, but a computer with Internet access will be needed to view the website. If the Internet is not available in the home, parents and students may access the portals using computers available at public library branches.
*If you have previously used the Parent Portal, you will use the same username and password from previous years.*Kindergarten parents will receive a letter from their student's school that indicates the necessary information for initial login. This letter will be sent home once the Parent Portal is back online.*Parents for grade levels other than Kindergarten, who have not previously used the Parent Portal, will need to request a letter from their student's school.*The Student Portal is available via the NC Ed. Cloud Portal. Students login using their standard student ID and password.
