Mrs. R. Nicole Scism
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University. I have been teaching science for 14 years and I love teaching! I have taught many different science classes and I enjoy the relationships made with the students. Teaching is not a job to me, but rather my passion and it brings me great joy. I want the material to be relatable to the world around my students, not just a subject they need to learn. I look forward to teaching many years at WLHS!
My family and I live in Lawndale, NC and we have a farm that has horses, cows, sheep, and goats. We do have a roping horse that my son is training with to use at the junior rodeo next year. I am married to my best friend, Michael, and we met at NCSU. We have three boys and all three of my boys’ rodeo and we travel on the weekends to various places in the Eastern part of the United States, sometimes the western part of the country. My youngest rides sheep and miniature ponies, while my older boys ride bareback bucking ponies and bareback and saddle bronc steers. We LOVE to rodeo!
I am very blessed to be able to work with the students at West Lincoln High School!
