I am so excited about beginning the new school year!  I am starting my 19th year working in Lincoln County Schools.  I grew up in Lincoln County and graduated from West Lincoln High School.  I then obtained my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University.  For the first 7 years of my career, I worked at St. James Elementary and then transferred to Pumpkin Center.  I love my job!!  I have the privilege of working with children of all ages (3 to 18).  It brings me such joy to watch my "speech kiddos" grow & develop in their communication skills so they are able to more easily contribute to conversations with their friends and family. 

I am happily married to my best friend, Jason, and we have three incredible children--Isaac 13 (soon to be 14), Ella 12, and Avery 10.  All of my children attend schools in Lincoln County.  In addition to being a speech therapist, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, singing, playing the piano, participating in church activities, exercising, and being outdoors.
