How CTE Classes Prepare Students for Life Beyond High School

    The mission of Career and Technical Education (CTE) is to empower students for effective participation in an international economy as world-class workers and citizens. Programs in CTE are designed to contribute to the broad educational achievements of students. The programs of study that we offer at West Lincoln High School include the following:

  • Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) enhance student learning through contextual instruction, leadership, personal development, applied learning, and real-world application. CTSOs work as an integral component of the classroom curriculum and instruction, building upon employability and career skills and concepts through the application and engagement of students in hands-on demonstrations and real-life and/or work experiences through a Career and Technical Education program.
