I am MaryEllen Eaker. I feel very lucky to be teaching this year at North Brook Elementary.  I believe that all students can learn and have a right to a good education. One of our goals is to get students thinking about what they want to do when they get out of school.  Some students will enter the work force, while others may go to a trade school, college, or enter the military. This is my 27th year teaching. I am a graduate of UNC-Charlotte and Gardner-Webb University.  I am certified in Elementary Education K-6. In addition, I have a Master's Degree in both Special Education and School Administration.  I have been a National Board Certified teacher for 22 years. I have a love for teaching and I enjoy spending time with my husband and son.
