I grew up on a small farm in Gaston County in a little town called Lucia.  I attended Pinewood Elementary, Mt. Holly Jr. High and graduated from East Gaston High School.  In 2003, I married my husband Steven and moved to Dallas, NC.  We have 2 sons, Solomon and Silas.  We also have 2 boxers named Peanut Butter and Willie, a cat named Jelly and a rabbit named Peter.  We enjoy going to the beach, mountain trips, fishing, hunting and spending time with one another outdoors. 

I am currently in my 20th year as an educator.  I began my career as a 5th grade teacher at Costner Elementary School in Dallas, NC.  After 10 years in the classroom, I was named the Assistant Principal at John Chavis Middle School in Cherryville, NC.  After serving at JCMS for 3 years, I returned to Costner Elementary as the Assistant Principal for 2 years.  

I became Principal at Lincolnton Middle School in September, 2018.  I consider myself blessed to be part of such a great school community!  LMS is a truly amazing school and I am humbled by our outstanding group of educators and students who have made this such a special place. I look forward to serving all of you as the Principal of LMS as we continue to support one another, grow together and continue to foster a lifetime love of learning for our students.  Please let me know if you ever need anything.
