World Literature will entail the comprehension and interpretation of various literary genres and terms using the study of the world and its cultures.  Written, oral, critical, and creative responses to literary and informational selections are required.  Grammar is taught through the writing process.  If the student is taking this course through the honors program, s/he will be required to partake in additional reading, research, and vocabulary studies.  For all students, this course will culminate with the NC End-of-Course test which counts as 20% of the course grade.
