  • I can follow the sequence of steps below to add parts to the snap circuit board to create a Sound Activated Switch. 

  • Step 1 Place battery on circuit board on C5 and E5

  • Step 2: Bar 5 at A1, Music IC at C1 and D1, and bar 4 at E1

Step 2: Bar 5 at A1, Music IC at C1 and D1, and bar 4 at E1
  • Step 3: Add bar 3 vertically at A2 and the Slide Switch (S1)  to the board at A5.

  • Step 4:Add the 2 bar vertically on top at D1, and add 2 bar horizontally at E4.

Step 4:Add the 2 bar vertically on top at D1, and add 2 bar horizontally at E4.
  • Step 5:Add the Whistle Chip (WC) vertically on top at A1.

Step 5:Add the Whistle Chip (WC) vertically on top at A1.
  • Step 6: Lay the speaker (SP) on the table and connect it to the circuit using the jumper wires below (First black).

  • Step 7: Connect the Red Jumper wire to the Speaker (SP)

  • Step 8:Turn "On" the Slide switch and allow it to play Happy Birthday.  When it stops clap your hands over the Whistle Chip.
