Our cafeteria prepares wholesome and nutritious meals. We solicit your support in encouraging your child to eat in the school cafeteria. However, your child may bring his/her own lunch to school. Lunch payments may be sent at any time. Please place your child’s first and last name and his/her account number on the check and/or on the front of the envelope for proper credit. In addition, parents may view a detailed report of purchased and make payments online at www.k12paymentcenter.com.
Parents and relatives are invited to have lunch with their child(ren) in our cafeteria. However, lunch guest must be listed under student contacts. North Brook Elementary reserves the right to make changes in the lunch schedule without notice due to field day, field trips, extended testing time, or other special events. The menu will be sent home with students and posted on the Lincoln County Schools Website. Please refrain from calling the school for the daily lunch menu. We ask that parents eat lunch with their children only and sit in the booths along the exterior walls of the cafeteria. Other students may not be invited to eat with visitors other than their parents/guardians without written permission. Our cafeteria provides UNIVERSAL BREAKFAST free of charge daily for all students.

Free or reduced meals are available to students if needed. Please complete the Lincoln County Schools Free and Reduced Lunch Application sent home with all students at the beginning of the school year. You may apply at any time during the school year if your financial status changes. If an additional application is needed, please feel free to pick one up in the school office. Student meal status is confidential.
Students with medical conditions such as allergies and diabetes may request modification to school meals by completing a Diet Order Form. Parents may obtain a diet order form from the Child Nutrition Manager. Diet order forms should be updated annually or as medical conditions change.
Ice cream is sold in the afternoon after all lunches have been served. All items are $.60. Please send ice cream money in an envelope labeled with your child’s name.
According to the Lincoln County Schools Board Policy, foods brought to school should be purchased from an inspected facility. Home prepared food items such as meat, home canned vegetables/products, cupcakes, and etc. may not be brought to school for consumption by students other than the one bringing it. Items for winter and spring parties should be purchased from bakeries or grocery stores or in individually wrapped packages. School personnel may prepare food at the school site for classroom demonstration as it relates to instructional activities/purposes.
